The First Straw
Wow, so the seminar was just great. We arrived a little late (true Italian style) and even more tired but ploughed through the afternoon. Learning how to do and not to do building with straw bales. On day 2 the lovely Barbara and Stefano who hosted the course invited us to the front so that we could understand when Stefano was ‘talking Italian, talking Italian’. An amazing woman volunteered to translate for us, she is currently building her own straw bale home near Rome. The people were very inspiring and we had loads of info to work on. So off to the drawing board.
